Commercial carpet tile specialist Interface discuss how they develop innovative products, while also focusing on the Mission Zero goal of having no negative impact on the planet.
Always looking for ways to innovate, finding new methods, materials and designs to inspire customers and push the boundaries of conventional flooring, Interface develop solutions that answer the emerging challenges in a sustainable and socially responsible way.
More than two decades ago, Interface set the Mission Zero goal of having no negative impact on the planet by the year 2020.
With the help of numerous partners, the company has made huge progress towards its green target, reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its manufacturing sites by 92%, cutting its water intake by 87% and obtaining 84% of its energy from renewables. It is already planning a new initiative for beyond Mission Zero to move towards making a positive impact on the planet.
This has all been achieved while continuing to develop innovative new products for interior spaces.
Members, company employees, students of the University of Huddersfield and members of The Bradford Textile Society are welcome. If you intend to attend, please let our secretary know in advance.
